Applying a License

After installing and initializing FiscoBridge SDC, you need to apply a license to activate it. You'll need an activation key from the Client Portal and an internet connection on the device running the SDC.

Getting Your Activation Key

  1. Log in to the Client Portal at client.fiscobridge.com

  2. In the sidebar, go to SDCLicences

  3. Find an available activation key (status must be Available)

  4. Click the copy icon next to the key to copy it to your clipboard

Tip: If you don't have any activation keys, you need to purchase an SDC license first. See Buying a License.

Applying the Key in the SDC

  1. Open FiscoBridge SDC on your device

  2. Go to the License tab

  1. Paste your activation key into the input field

  2. Click Activate

  3. The application connects to FiscoBridge servers and validates the key

Once activated, the License tab shows your license type (Lite or Pro), activation date, and expiration date.

After Activation

  • The key's status in the Client Portal changes from Available to Used

  • The SDC is fully operational and can process invoices from your POS system

  • If you have a Pro license, the Reports section becomes available

Renewing a License

When your license is approaching expiration:

  1. Purchase a renewal through the Client Portal

  2. Copy the new activation key from the Licences page

  3. Go to the License tab in the SDC application

  4. Enter the new key and click Activate

The new license replaces the previous one without interrupting your fiscal operations.

Troubleshooting

Activation failed?

  • Make sure the device has an active internet connection

  • Verify the key status is Available in the Client Portal — used keys cannot be reactivated

  • Check that you copied the full key without extra spaces

Key shows as Used but device isn't activated?

  • Each key is tied to one device. If you need to move a license, contact support at contact@fiscobridge.com

License expired?

  • The SDC will show an expiration warning on the License tab

  • Purchase a renewal and apply the new key to continue operations
