Managing Certificates
Before you can issue invoices with Cloud POS, you need to upload at least one PFX certificate. Certificates are issued by your tax authority and identify your business for fiscal signing.
Understanding Seats
Your Cloud POS subscription comes with a certain number of seats. Each seat allows one active certificate:
1 free seat is included with every account
Additional seats come from your paid subscription
You can see your total seats and how many are in use at the top of the Certificates page

Note: If you've reached your seat limit, you'll need to add more seats to your subscription before uploading a new certificate. See Managing Your Subscription.
Uploading a Certificate
Go to POS → Certificates in the sidebar
Click the Upload Certificate button

Select your PFX file from your device
Enter the certificate password
Click Upload

Once uploaded, the certificate appears in your list with its taxpayer name, location, and status.

Tip: If the Upload Certificate button is disabled, you've reached your seat limit. Add more seats or revoke an unused certificate first.
Certificate Information
Each certificate in the list shows:
Field | Description |
|---|---|
UID | A unique identifier for this certificate |
Taxpayer | The business name on the certificate |
Location | The registered business location |
PAC | Certificate identifier code |
Expiration | When the certificate expires (highlighted in red if expired) |
Status | Active, Revoked, or Expired |
Filtering Certificates
If you have multiple certificates, use the filters at the top:
Taxpayer — Filter by business name
Location — Filter by location (auto-filters based on selected taxpayer)
Status — Show All, Active, or Revoked certificates

Revoking a Certificate
If you need to stop using a certificate (e.g., you're closing a location or replacing it):
Find the certificate in the list
Click the Revoke button
Confirm the action

Revoking a certificate frees up the seat, allowing you to upload a replacement.
Important: Revoking a certificate means you can no longer sign invoices with it. Make sure you have a replacement ready before revoking.
Certificate Expiration
The Expiration column shows when each certificate expires. Certificates nearing or past their expiration date are highlighted in red. Contact your tax authority to renew an expired certificate, then upload the new PFX file.
